Our specialized repair service rectifies common problems with the Mercedes-Benz 2007 – 2021 C Class steering column module. This module often fails and triggers fault codes related to the steering angle sensor, drivers SRS squib or the direct select lever. We also repair other common problems such as the indicator stalk not canceling, issues with the horn and steering wheel controls not working. U040400 Implausible data was received from the electronic selector lever module.
U113B29 “Communication with the Direct Select Lever has a malfunction, there is an invalid signal”
U021200 “Communication (with the steering column module has a malfunction”
U 0428 No Can message was received from control unit ‘N80 (steering column tube module control unit)’
C 1938 Check component ‘N49 (steering angle sensor)’
C 124100 The Steering angle speed of the steering angle sensor is outside the valid range.
C 124500 The Steering wheel turn counter has a malfunction.
B 000113 The squib for the drivers airbag (stage 1) has a malfunction. There is a open circuit.
B 000213 The squib for the drivers airbag (stage 2) has a malfunction. There is a open circuit.
