Product Repair Details
Our specialized service will repair the Mercedes-Benz 2009–2022 E-Class steering column module. This module frequently fails, causing fault codes related to the steering angle sensor, drivers SRS squib or direct select lever. We also repair other common problems, such as the indicator stalk not canceling, and issues with the horn and steering wheel controls. U040400 Implausible data was received from the electronic selector lever module.
P 9347 Button ‘P’ on component S16/13 Direct Select Gear Selector Switch is defective
U113B29 “Communication with the Direct Select Lever has a malfunction, there is an invalid signal”
U021200 “Communication (with the steering column module has a malfunction”
U 0428 No Can message was received from control unit ‘N80 (steering column tube module control unit)’
C 1938 Check component ‘N49 (steering angle sensor)’
C 124100 The Steering angle speed of the steering angle sensor is outside the valid range.
C 124500 The Steering wheel turn counter has a malfunction.
B 000113 The squib for the drivers airbag (stage 1) has a malfunction. There is a open circuit.
B 000213 The squib for the drivers airbag (stage 2) has a malfunction. There is a open circuit.
